“Community, family, friends” is a Robins, Iowa motto. Sitting just four miles north of Cedar Rapids, this eastern Iowa suburban community shares much of the history of Iowa’s second largest city. Like Cedar Rapids, it was founded by families that migrated to the area in the 1800s. The town was named after a businessman who settled into one of the early Robins Homes. Today Robins is still a family oriented community with over 3,000 residents. Robins real estate is available for people looking for a great home town.
Robins strongly supports its educational
community. A Robins home buyer will be able to send his or her children
to any one of five elementary schools, four middle schools and three
high schools. Higher education is available at nearby Kirkwood Community
College and the University of Iowa.
